Eligibility Criteria
All students from 5th to 12th standard are eligible to appear in HTSE 2023. This includes students from Hindi, Semi-English, and English Medium of HBSE, CBSE, and ICSE. The competition is open to students from both government and private schools.
Terms & Conditions of HTSE
- Students can participate in HKCL HTSE from 5th to 12th standard.
- Students should approach HKCL Authorized Learning Centers (ALCs) for the online examination.
- Each student can participate in a maximum of one exam and will be considered for a maximum of one award.
- Winners at the state level are not eligible for any district-level award category, and vice versa.
- Students’ information may be used by HKCL for marketing and communication purposes in the future.
- HKCL reserves all rights related to HKCL HTSE, including modifying prize amounts, important dates, terms & conditions, and other details without prior notice.
- Students from each standard must give the examination of their respective group.
- Students from Hindi, Semi-English, and English mediums will be treated at the same level, with no separate merit criteria.

Criteria for Choosing a Winner
The state and district level winners will be selected based on various factors, including marks obtained, questions solved, correct questions solved for the subject, the difficulty level of the questions, and the minimum marks required to pass.
