The Guwahati Biotech Park Talent Search Contest 2024, organized by the Business Incubation Centre for Fisheries and Aquaculture (BICFA) and Guwahati Biotech Park, invites students, start-ups, farmers, and entrepreneurs to submit their innovative project ideas. This contest focuses on fostering innovations in the fisheries, aquaculture, and allied industries, with the aim of generating sustainable livelihoods and promoting women’s empowerment. - Utilizing solar technologies in fisheries
- Testing kits for disease and water quality diagnosis
- Innovative fish farming techniques using local resources
- Integrated fish farming and advanced polyculture
- Innovative, low-cost technologies for fish tagging, auto-feeders, and more
- Formulation and production of fish feed using local ingredients
Eligibility Criteria
- Open to students, start-ups, farmers, entrepreneurs, and individuals with an interest in the fisheries and aquaculture sectors.
- Participants must submit a valid photo ID (PAN/Aadhar).
- Applicants affiliated with an organization must provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their supervisor or head of the organization.
- Unaffiliated participants may submit a self-declaration form.

Submission Guidelines
Participants should submit their project proposals in the prescribed format (Annexure I). Proposals must be submitted via Google Form: Submit Proposal. Late submissions will not be considered.
