How to Register for the RPS Olympiad:
Before registering for the RPS Olympiad, it’s essential to understand the following key points:
- Participants must choose the class they are currently studying in during the academic session of 2022-23.
- Phase-I of the RPS Olympiad will be conducted online, and no manual application or registration forms will be accepted.
- The registration fee for Classes I-V is Rs. 200, and for Classes VI-X, it is Rs. 300. Additional transaction charges may apply. Registration fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.
- After successful online registration and payment, candidates will receive a registration message on their registered mobile numbers, which will include a user ID and password.
Rules and Regulations:
To ensure a fair and efficient competition, the following rules and regulations are in place:
- Participants should arrive at the venue one hour before the registration process for Phase-II (offline mode) of the RPS Olympiad.
- Each participant must be accompanied by one authorized guardian or parent during regional rounds.
- The regional selection process will consist of Self Introduction, Talent Round, and Question Round, assessing stage personality, presentation, and impact.
- Participants can choose their attire, which should remain the same for all rounds.
- The Talent round allows participants to showcase their talents, such as dancing, singing, playing instruments, or poetry. For singing and dancing, participants must bring their tracks, which should be submitted during registration.
- There is no negative marking for Phase-I, but for Phase-II, there will be a ¼ negative marking for each incorrect answer.
- The decision of the judges is final, and consultations with judges will not be available.
Required Documents:
Participants are required to bring specific documents during the auditions, including:
- Two passport-size colored photographs
- Three color postcard-sized photos of the participant (Close-up, Mid-shot, and Full-length)
- Self-attested copy of the birth certificate
- A fitness certificate from a local physician or family doctor, affirming the applicant’s physical and mental fitness
- School ID card
- Conduct certificate from school authorities
- Self-attested copies of all certificates
Awards for the Winners:
The RPS Olympiad offers exciting awards for the winners:
- Winner: Rs. 21 lakhs, including a cash prize of Rs. 3,00,000 and a 100% academic fee waiver for a maximum of Rs. 18 lakhs to study any discipline at KIIT.
- 1st Runners Up: Rs. 10 lakhs, comprising a cash prize of Rs. 1,00,000 and a 50% academic fee waiver, up to Rs. 9 lakhs, for studying any discipline at KIIT.
- 2nd Runners Up: Rs. 9.5 lakhs, with a cash prize of Rs. 50,000 and a 50% academic fee waiver, up to Rs. 9 lakhs, for studying any discipline at KIIT.
