Meal Maker Biryani in Telugu || Soya Chunks Biryani Recipe by Moms Tasty Recipes.

Meal Maker Biryani Ingredients:-

i. Soya Chunks or meal maker – 1.5 cup

ii. Basmati rice or normal rice – 3 cups

iii. Ghee – 1 tablespoon

iv. Oil – 1 tablespoon

v. Dalda – 1 tablespoon

vi. Garam-masala – 3 cloves, 3 small cinnamon sticks

vii. Onions – 2 – chopped small pieces

viii. Salt – 1 teaspoon

ix. Green chillies – 2

x. Mint leaves – 1/2 cup

xi. Ginger-garlic paste – 1 teaspoon

xii. Chilli powder – 1-2 teaspoon

xiii. Turmeric powder – 1/4 teaspoon

xiv. Coriander leaves

and also you can add Carrot – 1, Potato – 1 and Green peas – 1/2 cup.

Wash and soak 2 cups basmati rice or normal rice in water. Heat a pan and add 1 tablespoon clarified butter(ghee), 1 tablespoon oil. 2 tablespoons clarified butter(ghee) could also be added. Add whole cardamoms, 5 cloves, 2-3 small cinnamon sticks and fry for a minute. Add 2 diced onions and fry. Add 1 teaspoon salt. Add 4 slices green chillies. Add diced carrots, diced potatoes, 1/2 cup green peas. These vegetables are optional. Mix them, close the lid and let it cook for 5 minutes. Add 1/2 cup mint leaves, 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste, 1/2 teaspoon chilli powder, Add the pre-soaked meal maker/ soya. Add 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder and mix. For 3 cups basmati rice or normal rice, add 6 cups water. Add water and check the taste. Add salt if needed. Add 1/2 cup curd and mix(optional). To the boiling water add the soaked basmati rice and mix. Close the lid and cook on medium flame. Cook till the water boils away. Add coriander leaves and mix.

To the boiling water add the soaked basmati rice and mix. Close the lid and cook on medium flame. Cook till the water boils away. Add coriander leaves and mix.
