Sony BBC Earth Photography Contest 2023 – Sony BBC Earth invites all photography enthusiasts to participate in the Photography Contest 2023, a celebration of the captivating visuals, moments, and stories that showcase the Pride of India. This contest is exclusively for Indian citizens residing in India, providing a platform to share their unique perspectives. The theme for this year’s contest is “Pride of India,” encompassing India’s majestic monuments, rich wildlife, and diverse cultures.

Eligibility Criteria

1. The contest is open exclusively to Indian citizens residing in India. Citizens of other countries are not eligible.
2. Participants must be adults, having attained the age of eighteen (18) years as of the contest date.
3. Employees, agents, and promoters of MSMW, along with their immediate family members, are not eligible to participate.

How to Enter the Contest

1. Theme: Pride of India
2. Subcategories: Portraits, Monuments, and Wildlife
3. Each participant can submit one entry under each subcategory, totaling a maximum of three entries.
4. All entries must be uploaded directly on the microsite along with a short description or caption (250 characters or less) in English.
5. Participants need to provide their name, city, and email address while uploading each entry.
6. Additional details:
   • Size limit: 10MB per image
   • Supported formats: JPG, JPEG, PNG

Winners Selection

1. Shortlisted entries will be displayed on the website randomly on 26th September.
2. During the Voting Period, participants can accumulate votes by sharing their entry links on social media.
3. Voters can submit one vote per image.
4. The top 25 entries in each category, based on votes, move to the next level (Judge’s review).
5. A panel of expert judges will review the top 25 entries in each category.
6. The final three winners will receive Sony ZV-1F Vlog Cameras, and runners-up will have a chance to win Portable Vlogging Kits.
7. Winning entries will be featured on Sony BBC Earth’s official social media pages.
8. Winners will have a virtual meet and greet with the judge.
